The town of Bridgewater in the Municipality of Lunenburg is located 15 km inland from the Atlantic Ocean with the picturesque and historic LaHave River running through the town’s centre.

Fisher Lake is located approximately 15 minutes from Highway 103, the city of Bridgewater and its amenities which include a major hospital, health services, shopping and more. Take exit 13 off the 103 and turn right. Drive 6 km to Hwy.210 and turn left towards Chelsea, Greenfield and the airport. Drive 9 km to a gravel road on your left which is identified with a small sign saying "Lakefront Dr.", "Fisher Lake." You have now arrived at our new homes location.

Sights
Within half an hour or less, you can drive into the famous town of Lunenburg, home port of the tallship, Bluenose II. Stroll around and shop at the many boutiques or visit The Atlantic Fisheries Museum. Mahone Bay is just a stone’s throw from there and also a very popular town with many sights to see and things to do on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Take the opportunity to visit Risser’s Beach and Crescent Beach, where you can lie in the sun, swim or take a beautiful stroll along the shore of the Atlantic. Bridgewater is an inviting, prosperous, growing community along the South Shore of Nova Scotia and very convenient to many popular attractions. A beautiful small town in which to live or visit.
 
Bridgewater is considered the “Main Street of the South Shore.” It offers a major regional hospital, movie theatre, banks, restaurants, public library, museums, accommodations, a shopping mall and many other shopping venues. The area has an 8 km multi-use scenic trail to enjoy or stop in at Shipyard’s Landing where you can sit and enjoy the LaHave River view with a picnic lunch or launch your own watercraft. There are also many other parks and small trails for public use throughout town. For those people who enjoy a good game of golf, there are two golf courses to challenge your level of expertise and provide beautiful views while on the course.
